I grew up out in the countryside of North Carolina with incredible parents and my little brother. Early mornings on the farm, driving tractors, and playing just about every sport I could shaped a lot of who I am — my work ethic, my love for the outdoors, and the way I approach life.

In high school, my dad brought home a Tandy computer, and that was it… I was hooked. Technology fascinated me. I originally went to UNC-Wilmington for business, but my path shifted when I joined Port City Community Church and dove into video and lighting.

That’s where I discovered what I really loved: live production, storytelling through technology, and building environments that help people connect. It’s also where I met Kirsten — the love of my life.

I spent 14 years at Port City doing what I was passionate about: live events, production leadership, and training teams. In 2016, our family moved to Atlanta with our son Noah, and I became the Live Video Director at Victory Church. I had the chance to work alongside some of the best people in the industry and to grow tremendously in both my skills and my leadership.

Then in 2020, everything changed.

The pandemic forced a big pivot, and I made the jump into the AVL integration world — bringing my church production background into a new space.

Today, I work at Diversified as a Account Executive and Sales Engineer, helping churches across the country design and build production systems that truly support their mission. That includes audio, video, lighting, broadcast, and technology infrastructure — everything from new campus builds to major upgrades.

I get to partner with church leaders, production teams, and contractors to create thoughtful, future-ready solutions. I also love coaching teams, helping staff grow, and making sure technology serves people — not the other way around.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me working out, cycling, hanging out at the Whitewater Center, reading a great book, or chasing adventures with my family.

We live in Charlotte, NC now, and life is full — in the best way. Kirsten and I have four awesome kids: Noah, Haven, Ocean, and Loch. We’ve also got three cats and one dog… so yes, our house stays busy.

It’s loud, chaotic, and full of memories — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
